About the Role
Ideal Candidate: 2-4 years of experience, program management experiences are helpful, strong Excel, data analysis, basic coding, environmental and sustainability exposure. Strong communication skills are a must-have. Strong SAP skill is required.
Nice to have: Supply chain experience - Knowledge of carbon (Transportation and distribution fields).
Skills: Data analysis skills and proficiency in Excel, R, SAP, Enablon, Tableau, and/or Python.

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sustainability Data Analyst to join our team and contribute to our ongoing efforts in achieving 2027 Environmental Sustainability Goals.
This is a temporary position in our global environmental sustainability team, housed in Engineering. The data analyst will work with our carbon accounting and decarbonization lead. The role will support the expansion of data management and analysis capabilities to track key performance indicators.
Responsibilities include:
• Collecting internal and third-party information related to carbon footprints to track Scope 3 carbon reductions across the enterprise.
• Assessing supplier data to develop a relative ranking / categorization program.
• Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting sustainability data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Analyzing structured and unstructured datasets, and ability to gap-fill when information is not available.
• Evaluating case studies with the carbon accounting leader to assess carbon reductions in the supply chain to help develop our longer-term (net zero) strategy.
• Improving recordkeeping and data management from internal teams located in various business units across the enterprise (matrix organization).
• Demonstrating collaboration, problem-solving, and conflict management skills to ensure a productive work environment and achievement of objectives.
• Analytical, organizational, and project management experience, and ability to work independently, including the ability to multi-task and manage demands and/or projects simultaneously.
• Preparing reports, presentations, and visualizations to effectively communicate sustainability metrics and progress to stakeholders.
• Staying up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in sustainability data management and analysis.

Requirements
Requirements:
• 1-4 years of demonstrated project management experience in industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, data science, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in the field of sustainability or environmental science.
• Proficiency in data management and analysis tools, such as Excel and statistical software.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify trends and patterns.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and analysis.
• Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of key sustainability initiatives such as the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, Science Based Targets, life cycle analysis, product carbon footprint, as well as greenhouse gas inventories and databases.
• Data analysis skills and proficiency in Excel, R, SAP, Enablon, Tableau, and/or Python.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
